Chainfire
April 29th 2006
1:00 - 2:00
This is the next installment in a series of books that I have been reading for years. It is fantasy and involves magic and medievil warfare. All the books this one included have a strong theme of friendship, love, and overcoming all odds to have freewill. Its good so far but there is a ton of talking. I am more of an action man myself.

Earthboy Jacobus
April 22nd 2006
10:15 - 11:15
Well this graphic novel was amazing. It was really easy reading but had some deeper meaning. The relationship between Jacobus and Chief developes into one of father and son and they overcome some really tuff situations to show their love for each other. Pick it up it was GREAT!

Earthboy Jacobus
April 8th 2006
4:45 - 5:45
I decided to go a different route and I am reading a graphic novel. The story is about a boy named Jacobus who is from another dimension. He is running from some human insect crossovers called ectoids who are trying to capture him. A man by the name of Chief takes him in and raises him. They lead a normal life for awhile before the end of getting attacked and taken back to Jacobus' version of earth. In his version the ectoids infect people and they become ectoids. It is really good and the artwork is excellent.

Wicked
April 1st 2006
12:00 - 1:00
I am beginning to lose patients with this book. The first couple of chapters were really interesting but the author has doven into the politics of the country of Oz. I was more interested to see how the inner darkness of Elphaba was going to come out and change her into the dark character we all grew up hating. Maybe in the chapters to come it will all piece together.

Wicked
March 25th 2006
1:30 - 2:45
I picked this book because it sounded like it would have a different outlook on the same old story. It talks about the land of Oz from the perspective of the Wicked Witch of the West. At this point in the book they are talking about Elphaba who later becomes the witch and her family. It was interesting to have her father be a religious zealot and her mother from a wealth background. The premise of book has caught my attention so far.

Legacy of the Drow
1:00 - 2:00 pm
Drizzt and Catti-bre have left the adventures on the sea to return to their once home Icewind-Dale. They return to face an old foe and to see if they can help release the soul of a lost companion from the grips of a demon. The book is interesting. It is a collection of four novels in one book. I have already read three of the four so I'm starting to get my fell of this author and his writting style.

Legacy of the Drow
March 4th 2006
11:00-12:00
Drizzt has decided to return to his homeland. An underground cite of dark elfs. He has made this decision because his kindred have decided to attack the underground city of the dwarfs. This book is full of excellent battles and even larger adventures.

Legacy of the Drow
February 26 2006
12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
One of my most beloved characters faces new challenges in this set of novels. Drizzt is a dark elf who left the evil ways of his homeland and is now seeking peace while trying to discover his true self. In the book he is at a time of peace but is worrying how his life will go on and what new adventures await him. Two of his friends are getting ready to be married and an old friend has decided to come but they know that he is there for other for other reasons.

Harry Potter the half blood prince
February 19 2006
2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
This book was hard for me to get into at first. By the time I got into it I could not put it down. Harry Potter is growing up and having a hard time. It is interesting to see how he and the other characters are changing as they grow up and the relationships they are forming

workshop
Feb. 21st, 2006 | 06:39 pm
My workshop went alright. It was only myself and one other student. We got a chance to bounce some ideas off of each other but it would have been nice to have more than just one persons feedback.
